Our victim services staff in each county serves as the primary point of contact between our offices and the victims we serve. Its purpose is to ensure all crime victims are meaningfully served by:

  • Explaining and supporting their rights
  • Assisting with navigation of the criminal justice system
  • Providing information and referrals to local, state and national resources
  • Providing protective order assistance and safety planning
  • Arranging and attending meetings between prosecutors and victims
  • Accompanying victims and witnesses during hearings and trial
