DISTRICT ATTORNEY Mike Fields, was feted at celebrations today in Canadian and Garfield counties, in recognition of his 28 years of public service as a state prosecutor. Gov. Kevin Stitt announced this week his appointment of First Assistant District Attorney Tommy Humphries, right, to succeed Fields as district attorney of the five-county district. Humphries will take office Jan. 2 to serve until the next election in 2026.
